In Life / Toxicology Studies – AppTec’s Facilities Building on our many years of experience providing quality testing services to the biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical and medical device industries, AppTec is growing and enhancing its in life / toxicology services, including a state-of- the-art facility expansion that significantly increases the number of animal study rooms and lab/work areas. Dedicated staffing for in life/toxicology studies includes 4 D.V.M./board certified pathologists, 1 lab animal D.V.M., 6 histologists, 17 study directors, 26 technicians and 12 animal care specialists. Testing Expertise For testing in support of client product development and/or regulatory submission needs, AppTec has a unique depth of expertise in biocompatibility, biodistribution/tumorgenicity, drug/device and toxicology studies. This scientific expertise is combined with a true dedication to effective client communication and a commitment to meeting client timelines. Qualifications / Accreditations AppTec is FDA registered and ISO 17025 certified. Additional qualifications include AAALAC and AALAS accreditation, and USDA and DEA licenses.
